Hi! I'm Simon J. Levien.️
I am an incoming politics fellow at The New York Times and a former politics reporting intern at the Wall Street Journal where I covered Congress and elections. I also recently covered state politics for the Boston Globe and joined the POLITICO Journalism Institute. Previously, I was named a member of the New York Times Student Journalism Institute and as an AAJA Voices Fellow.
I served as Audience Engagement Editor and News Executive for The Harvard Crimson, where I oversaw metro news content and led the organization’s digital strategy. As a news and magazine reporter for The Crimson, my yearlong investigation into the historical presence of the Ku Klux Klan on campus was covered by the Washington Post and awarded the 2021 Student Excellence in Written Reporting Award by the Asian American Journalists Association.
